Asta-Ja Fund Raising Event

On February 15, 2009, Nepalese Student Association at the Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, , Louisiana, USA, organized an event for welcoming new Nepalese students at LSU. On that occassion, Asta-Ja Abhiyan's life members, Dr. Bijaya Karki and Dr. Krishna Paudyal, both at LSU, coordinated a fund raising event for Asta-Ja. A total donation of $474 was generated.

Asta Ja Hatemalo program at Chandole, Bishalnagar, Kathmandu

On January 3 2009, the Asta Ja Abhiyan Nepal, the Solidarity Monthly, and the Bishal Milan Kendra Chandol organized "Asta Ja Hatemalo" program in Bishal Milan Kendra at Bishalnagar, Kathmandu. Constituent Aseembly member Mr. Nara Hari Acharya was the chief guest of the hatemalo event. The purpose of the hatemalo program is to bring Asta Ja Abhiyan to the communities and neighborhoods. Thanks to Kishore Sedain Jee and other volunteers for organizing this event.
